Do bachhon ki maa- for a month now!

Aditi turned one month old yesterday. Time flies. She has so quickly earned a huge place in all our hearts…

The power she wields in her little fingers – we all gush when she holds our big clumsy fingers in her firm yet soft grip.

She sure has a voice of her own now, a pretty sure and strong one. She sometimes sounds as though she is cooing. God forbid if you delay a little when Aditi wails, her big sis will take up her case offering suggestions” Amma feed her… pick her up… change her diaper- she must have done potty…”

She pedals and stretches and Anush rightly calls it yoga.

Smiling from day one, she gets a dimple on one cheek, now it seems as though the smile is not so random but one reserved for certain occasions/ people. She is focusing better on sights and sounds.

And whenever I think that is really tough being a mom of two, Aditi seems to understand and gives me respite by being an undemanding, accommodating baby- leaving me time for her almost maternal and very deserving big sister..who is herself just a big baby of four.

Thank you both for making this a happy transition from being a mom of one to a mother of two.

Here is the colouring that Anush presented Aditi for her monthly birthday, adding to us ” Anything for baby, I will do very neatly and carefully”

And yeah , finally figured out that she is a Libra.
