Anush made a card( ref last pic in the collage) for Krishna on Janmashtami, once she realised we were celebrating Krishna's birthday and sang Happy birthday for him as well as.
Guided by my mother, she used the kolam acchu( rangoli mould) and made 50 sets of baby feet approaching the puja cupboard right from the main door. You can catch the last set of feet near the lamp in the pic.
Since she saw lots of kids dressed at the little Lord on TV, we did a Krishna get up for her in less than three minutes using a shawl, a hair band, eye liner and some tattoos....for want of any of the usual props. But she was delighted with this itself. Thank God kids are not very particular.

monika/ chox- sure was fun- anush loves dressing up- role play- her school has no fancy dress and the like at all:-((

this apmnt. is too new....the other one we have at new years- usually we are away then- except once when she was a jungle queen and a fisherman- pics shld be on the blog...
so i just play act with her - she was a cat once- that was adorable
