Thank God it's Monday!

Hectic weekend once again.

Anush laid out her clothes herself while I was fixing coffee in the kitchen- cool huh?

Friday, for Halloween, I carved the pumpkin ( kept it basic and neat) and we lit a glass with a candle inside, that way protecting the pumpkin for culinary use.

We went to the famous twins' birthday - Ojas Tejas. They looked really cute in their sherwanis but rather upset that they weren't being given the take away favours!! Anush thought Itchy aunty was wearing new footwear and had long hair- immediate qualifications to enter Anush's hall of fame:-) We had packed their gifts separately and Anush was fairly generous with the stickers she pasted on them.

Navy, at Anush's insistence ( and mine as well), took me to Westside and Landmark for "Diwali" shopping. Since I moaned that all had had new clothes to wear except me. So what if I keep buying clothes every other month almost and yet could not save one for the occasion.

Bought a few books each for all of us including White Tiger by Aravind Adiga, some kurtas including a gorgeous silk one and a couple of soft toys for Anush. As for White Tiger I hope the review in The Hindu's Literary review turns out untrue. :-) I saw the review after I bought the book.

We went to Navy's friend's movie- he is the camera person- Aegan- rather violent in parts but timepass. And Ajith looked cute despite his flab and there was a lot of it and he also carried off a greying stubble. Nayantara revealing clothes were completely inappropriate . So were Sushs's in Main Hoon Na but well..... I am glad we did not take Anush for it- too violent a movie during teh action sequences and too cold a theatre - Sathyam night show.

This issue of the new revamped Chandamama has Mister Muthu ( pg 30) in it. Pl grab your copy and do send in your comments to me. If positive put them up on this blog, else in private
by email okay? I also liked the illustrations that accompany it.

Chandamama? Oh I love it... will see if I can get a copy of it...

And Aegan is violent is it? Sigh.. I thought it was some kind of comedy (!?). Wonder where I got that idea from! So there goes my plan of seeing a movie.. after ages..
