The Artnavy Sisters?

Anushka had performed last year at the Swingers Summer show.

This year unexpectedly her summer camp asked her to do a semiclassical dance

She wanted to do the Alarippu but we settled for Mukunda Mukunda.
I was really pleased at her comfort on stage.  She was also very quick in going along with an unexpected change in the song's words since the school used their version of the song.
My feel is that while she is not naturally that flexible, she can be honed because of the interest she shows.
Time will tell.

Aditi is really into rhythm and dances with gusto. She was painfully shy and took time to warm up.
But both girls had fun on stage.

When we went that evening to the lovely Dhaatu- Hoskare sisters' Bharatanatyam and puppetry performance at I Nagar Club I could not but dream of a future of this kind for my girls. In dance or in music .

And  I quickly dismissed these dreams lest I start pressurising them unnecessarily.

I would love to have a word with moms of such duos and what role they had to play or not play for it to happen.

She is looking beautiful! Way to go Anush.

I also want Nishka to learn some form of classical dance when she grows up.

Arre, I don't see you being the sort of mother who would ever pressurise her kids. :)

Arre, I don't see you being the sort of parent who would ever pressurise a child. Am sure they will love it, if they do take it up.
