Decided to pep up Anushka last evening and a bit of chandan, some kaajal and a couple of white dupattas later she turned into a conventional Malayalee avataar.
We spoke a bit about God's own country and what the people speak, dance, eat and wear there.
Anush could not stop singing the Mallu equivalent of Mile sur to my grandma. My paati recalled her husband, my thaatha , a Tamil- Malayalee, who wrote Tamil in Malayalam script!
