Last night or should I say early this morning ( 1.30am) I was literally alarmed by my cell.
I was further startled since Navy is away in Mumbai and had not called on landing last night...
It was a colleague announcing his son's birth. Since he is not a close friend or relative, I think he could have shared the news at a more earthly hour...what do you think?

Pretty thoughtless...but then I guess one can't think very clearly when one has just become a parent.
I remember my hubby stammering "We got a boy" to his boss...I whacked him, then he corrected it, "No, I mean girl, sir!!"
