MMM

Chandamama Feb issue carried this glowing letter from a reader on Mister Muthu- I am flying!!
********
Pl catch an interview of Sowmya Rajendran at Saffron Tree- a really charmingly witty author.

********
Bt brinjal aside, I wish to state my concern that I hardly get to see Kamala oranges anymore. Ditto with Indian corn We found a few Kamlas yesterday and I was telling Anush their name, since she called them baby oranges, when she chuckled and said Kamala Narayanee Aditi?

Tell us about Mr.Muthu. Is it a story series? You write all episodes? You must make a post on how it all started!

Well done... I think you should go beyond the extension of Muthu and think of a collection of your own.

are you saying Kamala oranges are different from the Nagpur oranges we regularly find in the market? I didn't know this. What is the difference?
And why Narayanee?

And wow, super re: Mr.Muthu chronicles. Receiving praise from a child reader is the ultimate as they know no pretence.

hey ushaji- welcome here after a long while

we get californian oranges here in chennai with those stickers- uniform thick skinned ones you know?

hardly get kamala from anywhere

aditi's full name....
kamala- from navy's grandma narayanee- from narayan my grandpa and dad's names

on MM- yes - though the word choice of the reader seems rather adult or at least teenage maybe?
