Many firsts

We had been to a farm plot belonging to a relative, in OMR, to pluck mangoes for pickle making. Anush had a good time exploring nature. There were guava & cashew trees besides mango trees.

We popped in at my office on the way back - her first visit to my workplace. She enjoyed the swing and wanted me to turn on the computer and kept smelling all the flowers in the garden.

She was also surprised to see her amma drive, if only a short distance. After a while she was saying" I too want to drive". I guess she figured that if amma can drive, so can she...

This morning, spontaneously & unprompted, Anush wished her father " Happy birthday" and gave him the two flowers she had picked up from my desk at office it was so touching and cute.
Navy's gang from office turned up with candles and cake at midnight for a surprise. This is the first time that I did not gift any gadget or accessory to Navy but I trust the Ganesha and the new shirts will suffice. Not to forget the grand lunch my mom is cooking up for his entire office today!!
