What story could it be?

Am unable to comment on Tulika's latest post or should I say teaser. Hence this post. I am sure a lot of people would have guessed.

The book is Out of the way, Out of the way by Uma and Uma.

The story-

An Indian village is where the story opens.

The cycle rickshaw stands for a rural non motorised existance where we still have some time to stand and stare

A young boy plants a seedling in front of his house The tree grows, the village " grows" into a city as well

The tree makes shade and takes people under its care literally A city emerges in place of the village. The tree is still making way and waves!!
