A quick round up

Saw a lovely tea pot exhibition by Auroville artists at Prakrit and bought one.

Watched Aa dekhe zaraa and liked Neil and the plot. But the editing could have been still tighter, some songs were unnecessary.

Had a fabulous weekend till we got the shocking news.

Navy's maama - maternal uncle- a fairly fit man in his 40s - passed away after a massive heart attack.

A very resourceful collected person, I can't even begin to imagine what the kids ( one of whom is appearing for his board exams) and maami are going through. R maama was a big influence on Navy, especially his love of cooking and his networking skills.

He and maami were the ones who saw us off to our room, on our first night, post marriage at the Taj Blore. And I remember wishing that Navy and I would grow up into such a couple- full of love and mischief as we aged together. It will be so sad to see maami without him . .

Makes me wonder why can't God take away the really non contributing, no zest for life people first? Why do the ones with so much to look forward to have to leave and go?

Deepest condolences...and of course there really is no answer to why good people always are first in line to pass on. But I guess thats how natural selection works.

Inappropriate....but the teapot is very beautiful and traditional.

Very sorry to hear the news...am a bit of an atheist...so wont hold God responsible....in my experience, I have found that negativity tends to outlive positivity...thats why there are more wars than peace initiatives...it always takes more effort for positivity to last....thats why negative, not owrth it people live longer...my theory, dunno if its true, but has worked for me till now....:)

Unconnected, but wanted to go for tea pot exhibition, glad to see that you made it as usual...lovely tea pot, you got there, btw, if you dont mind my asking, how much was it?
