A tutorial by Anushka

How to wear a Sari yourself when you are ready to and Amma is not keen to let you:

Any "blouse" will do.

Any long dupatta of anyone in the family which suits your whim can double up as a sari

Follow the pics- stares (admiring or otherwise) guarenteed.

Hahaha.
Guess what, this will be the same girl that will give you so much trouble when you beg her to buys some grand saris for her wedding.
That has been the experience of most of my friends with daughters.
So enjoy this while it lasts!

yes! she wore it herself!!I was amazed

talk about being an inconsistent mom- instead of keeping up with my chant that she should not misuse my dupattas, I was busy clicking away and oohing her efforts!!

Awww... she's old enough. Shall I bring her a little girl's saree on my next trip to MDR? You get very pretty cotton ones here.
