Foot path

Have you seen kids walking on our roads?
With footpaths that usually are non existent and if at all, then mostly unusable.

There should be a law that the ward must be on the traffic side and the child on the inner side away from the perils that be.

One would think the adults would be careful but they are not.

Ah! My pet peeve! Hate it when parents do that. As a driver, it's really scary to drive past a kid on the left side...

oh my oft-repeated rant! why they can't have decent pavements is beyond me. we literally have to hop, skip 'n jump in most of the roads and am sure that is a leading cause for all our ortho problems!

You have such a beautiful blog. Loved the header pic and also the art work by Anushka. I'll check out Muthu online now, never heard of it before, looks interesting.

Hey, I did that a couple of times in Bangalore only because on the other side, there was an open ditch running parallel to the road, ok? Ok. ;)

So true! Adults holding babies in their laps in the front seat of the car is another scary thing.

Very true... but most of the times.. the traffic side is safer than the foot path because of open holes and dug up cables..

oh! in Bangalore, 98% of the times, the child is seen walking on the outside and parents on the inside! and it so totally beyond me!

add to that bad roads and non-existent pavements!
