anush has got a nice collection. use them now when she doesn't refuse wear pavadais - my daughter stopped wearing them as soon as she entered upper KG and have given all her almost new paaadais to less priviliged children of my maid and cook.
BTW, i saw your comment on choxbox about navneet collections having similar activities for children like woodcrafts. any idea where i can buy them here in chennai
kowsalya- u cna get them at landmark or odyssey or connexions ( navneet has paper cut out work- some chinese brand sells the wood craft- connexions- anna nagar
Wow! I love it. Right now both mine are crazy about pavadais and want to wear them even when they go to school or play. Esp the younger on grabs a pavadai and thrusts in my face telling 'Amma skot skot!' The other day she was wearing a narrow pavadai and was trying to get on a tricycle, couldn't swing her legs around and was getting pretty frustrated. I was really interesting for me to watch :)
Any ways, whats this navneet collections, woodwork and paper cout out work? Pls do a post. I do not follow up on comments.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? 3-4 PAVADAIS ARE MISSING IN THE PIC
utbt- u can refre the post in choxbox 0 i will do a post on it in a while
boo- so it took this for u to comment!!
choxbox- i pass on the non silk ones to my maid's daughter and a colleague's daughter who are about 5 months younger and much shorter than anush
the silk ones all have tucks and pleats - so she will take a while to out grow them- by then if the pavadais are still in good shape they will go to relatives or friends kids or we can convert them into a blouse/ pillow covers or something
