Taxing Times

It is like a Dementor- sucks out all the joy out of me. I know there is really nothing to be so intimidated about.

Completed the formats with double interest ( filled in the wrong form first).

The peon should be able to submit it on time.

And to think I pursued ICWA and cleared my first group inter. What a joke!

And the FM has decided not to extend the deadline on filing returns, first time in many years I guess.

Hey! File your returns online. I did it and it is real simple. You just need your PAN number.

@colection of stars - you beat me to it - I too was going to suggest online filing of returns. It was fairly simple, and one can look at the submitted stuff anytime by logging in.

Hmm, my company filled up everything and I just took that and gave it to anothe guy who is going to file it. God I am such an ignoramus. But I hear everyone talking about the online thingy.

But to actually take full advantage of filing it online, one needs to get a digital signature. Otherwise e ven if you file it online, yu need to submit the ITR-V that is generated within 15 days of online submission.

The bad part with digital signature, you pay 1700 and its valid only for a year :) Cheaper to get a CA do it for you..right? *wink*

I hate doing it by myself and to say I'm pretty bad at it is an understatement. It's such a headache, next time we will be doing it the online way I guess.
