More on Anush. She repeats the choicest things from what I say.
- I said" You must move your butt in or you will fall off the chair" She chanted "butt" again and again in great delight.
- "Are you eating vada, baby?" - she kept saying" vada baby"
- I was on the phone and said "Wow" to my MIL and Anush went woooooooowwwww! in the very same congratulatory tone
She did the most moving thing last night. I get pampered by my mother with a head massage, weekly once. I get the oil and the comb and then the moda. I was just fetching the former two last nght, when Anush noticed and got the moda for me to the exact spot where it is done. So now I am indulged by both my mom and my daughter!!
This is what they call heaven.

lucky you...eshan also says wow
yeah.. kids say the darndest things... and I think they start of as genuinely helfpul... my son carries away trays and teacups after guests leave and fetches his dad's slippers and takes away his shoes when he comes back from office. i dont know where along the way they forget all this!
Indeed. Daughters are really special me thinks.
Awww...
Art,
First, itchy writes about her yearning for a daughter and now you are almost rubbing it in about how wonderful and precious daughters are...please have mercy on us who parent only naughty li'l boys...jus' kidding!
I really love your daughter's wardrobe...nice colection there, I must add.
We just bought Cars dvd....my boy loves it and I did too, maybe I will get "Happy feet" next.
The roar of the lion is deafening :)
btw does she have infinite pattu pavaadai? she seems to be wearing different ones in each pic
You lucky one!Enjoy the dual pampering:)Kids really are like sponges, they soak up everything that you speak and do.That's so cute that Anushka imitates your talk.Haven't seen "Happy feet" yet,I am looking forward to seeing it sometime.Anushka has a pretty tasteful wardrobe and does she adorable or what?:)
She is just adorable. Have not seen happy feet but heard it was good.
awwwww, chooo chweeet! my mom always says: daughters are sooo thoughtful! :) i think i agree with her ;)

All of you - Thank you so much on Anush's behalf
She does have a lot of clothes( kid- she had 7 paavadais of which 3 are pattu) and most of them are pretty cute like most baby's clothes are
i would love to have a boy without going thru pregnancy again

now I want a daughter too....
AWE!!!! Lucky mum!!!!!
I am sure Anush will like "Cars" too. I liked Cars better than Happy Feet. The latter started out good but was a little hastily wound up I think.
How enchanting to see you are being pampered by your mother as well as daughter! May these blissful days continue forever!!
now i will see "cars" as soon as teh DVD is available
Anush is so adorable, AN! Loved her as Simba! How sweet was she to get you the moda knowing when u needed it! And lucky you, getting a massage every week! :)
