A couple of nights back , I was singing Raindrops on roses....favourite things from "The Sound of music." A truly lovely poignant song with an under current of nervousness and an attempt at reassurance.
Then I just made up an impromptu version with Anushka's favourite things.
Asked her what she thought was my favourite stuff and well she got a few right ( mostly actors, food and songs) and Navy supplied the rest.
We did one for Navy too.
Try it- it makes for great family bonding.
Mad momma did a post on how parents keep track of their children's likes and the viceversa leaves us pleasantly surprised. Then I remembered wanting to share this.
